OUR VISION

To provide powerful leadership through authentic and passionate corporate worship at Evangel Temple in Columbus, GA. To cultivate a spirit of cooperation and collaboration among the musicians and artists of Evangel Temple which leads to great works of song and art that bring glory to God. We want to see God’s love and unending mercy touch the heart of every one we encounter.

OUr DNA

Justin was born and raised in Columbus, GA and spent much of his time at Evangel Temple in Columbus, GA. He felt a call to worship ministry beginning in his teenage years and graduated from Southeastern University in 2012 with a B.S. in Church Music.

For nearly four years Justin served as the worship pastor at Center City Church in Charlotte, NC.

Justin currently serves at Evangel Temple as the Worship Arts Associate. He leads the musicians at Evangel, directs the Student Ministries worship team, and regularly leads worship alongside his wife Melissa.

Melissa was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised on the island of Dominica in the Caribbean. She also grew up in church, as her dad was pastor on the island.

When her family emigrated to the United States she began serving on the worship team at her church and for years has been serving at Evangel Temple as a worship leader and prayer team leader.

Melissa holds several degrees including a M.S. in Environmental Science from Columbus State University.

She currently serves at Evangel Temple as the Worship Arts Administrative Assistant.

OUr heart

is to see God’s people encounter the spirit of the living God in corporate worship, in their homes, and everywhere they go. We want to create and craft new songs for the Church to sing together, and create a culture of challenge AND inclusion for the musicians and artists in the church. We believe that the church is strongest when we worship God together.

We serve a wonderful and life-filled church and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for us and for Evangel Temple.
